Thank you, Neil.

At the moment, the MiG looks a little better. Today I applied stencils to its surface. There are many different small inscriptions on the surface of the plane. I glued decals with labels all afternoon. There is no time left in the photo. I'll take a picture of it in daylight tomorrow.

to Alec K:

The colour contrast is beautiful on the metal finish.

Thank you 🙂 It was the effective color contrast of the red-blue-white color accessories to the silver fuselage and the wings that was the reason why I chose this color scheme.
I plan to build the MiG-21MF in a similar effective color scheme as this PFM:MiG-21MF, Czech Air Force | Project by KLuK (1:48)

Album info

Taking into account the quality of the kit, I build the model from the parts in the kit and with minimal use of additional sets.

This aircraft is the most colorful MiG-21 PFM which served in the Czechoslovak Air Force. Originally, the aircraft was the color of painted natural metal. During the overhaul, the surface of the machine was sprayed with varnish in which aluminum powder was mixed. By repainting, the entire surface of the machine was given a uniform silver-gray color, which gradually turned gray due to the weather. In 1991, the 11th Air Fighter Regiment received the honorary title of "Invasion". On this occasion, the aircraft received color accessories in national colors.
