Actually, I wanted to do the project last Christmas, but it didn't work out in time. Now I hope to see a "Santa Cat" for Christmas this year 😁

Welcome Maciej!
Dry fit is very good! Shouldn't cause any problems.

Decals attached. Were unfortunately no longer the "freshest". Fortunately, I have the kit several times and was able to fall back on a replacement 🥳

Looks great! Love the details like the dirty area where the wings sweep. How does it compare to other 1/48 F-14 kits?

Great work, Roland! Like it very much. 👍 What glue do you use for attaching allready painted large parts? I mean vertical stabilizers etc.

Thanks a bunch mates! Cheers!
Jakub, I use a thin layer of CA glue for this. The cheapest I can get 😄 Definitely not thin cement. That destroys the paint.
In this case it fits so well that no glue would be necessary. Its a good kit. I like the Hobby Boss F-14 because they are a lot cheaper than the Tamiya (here in Germany at least) and have more potential. The Trumpeter F-14 are crap.

Top job 👍 One never gets weary looking at fresh Tomcats from the "usual suspect" builders... So how´s the HB-cat line up against the other 48´scale options? Final product definitely looks great! 👍
Also a great topic choice... a very nice weathering job - it appears that while busy as hell, Santa definitely finds time to lube his cat... 😉 😄

Thank you Mates! Much appreciated!
Slavo, your nice comments were really missing here. Nice that you're back!
I really like the Hobby Boss F-14 because they are relatively cheap and offer many options (slats, flaps, weapon bay,...). No, they're not "shake 'n bake" like Tamiya, but they fit quite well (like the F-111). For the rivet counters, however, the Hobby Boss actually has some unnecessary flaws such as the superfluous rivets on the wings. But that doesn't bother me.
