An excellent NM finish especially rivets. Are this 3D rivets or made by Rosie the riveter?

Album info

After the end of the Second World War, negotiations were held on the acquisition of fighter aircraft - both jet and propeller. From the propeller machines, we were very interested in the British Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XVI and Hawker Tempest Mk.V. While the Spitfires Mk.XVI would increase the status of the existing fighter squadrons of Spitfires Mk.IX, which we received in 1945, Tempesty would be newly armed airport in Brno. The negotiations were successful and a delivery of 10 pieces was promised. The changing domestic political situation ruined everything, however, even before the coup in February 1948, the first 3 pieces were delivered. These machines were delivered without weapons and sights, but they will be delivered later. One of the Tempests was operated in VZLÚ where it was redesignated according to our standard on the S-88. It received a similar color as the Spitfire Mk.IX (S-89 V-20) and both were, together from the Bf-109G-10, demonstrated on air days. Jiří Maňák most often flew on this V-21 machine, either during tests or aerial demonstrations. Other Tempests were delivered only in 1954, in a towed version and the number of 5 pieces. These machines were used to tow targets together with modified jet Avia CS-92V. The last two machines were still used at the end of the seventies in the SNB, where they were demonstrated at various events.
