Yes sorry to have missed this too. Doesn't that stand put a lot of stress on the wing root? Is it reinforced somehow?

The root is quite strong as a standard kit, i did wonder about using this entrapment technic but there is very little deflection along the wing so happy to use it for display purposes only & it allows the aircraft to be viewed more openly,I have another version in the pipe line that will sectetly support the underside of the wing ??It hold out till then!!!Simon

Very interesting stand and a nice build 👍 What are the props made of?

Were the guns part of the kit?

Hi the props were from "valiant wings" photo shopped on to-clear acetate sheet scaled to suit your build, but its down to the buyer to cut and centre holes before fitting even with a great circle cutter it was challenging

Guns were part of the kit and luckly i had a spare set as i broke a barrel just before finishing it off i have no idea where its gone and i have looked everywhere??

Album info

Very similar to my first build same basic kit, however with lessons learned i have assembled the cabin and cockpit this time i have left out most of the details and just hand painted the cabin area just in case you can see through the windows once fully assembled... added a pilot and co pilot, plus 2 gunners, crew came from the 2 airfix kits however now they have new arms donated by some redundant ground crew ops.
After trial assembly I discovered that the first cabin internal door way clashes with the top gun and so i had to remove this before bonding the 2 fuselage half's together these were again a good match and married up quite welll
now back at work so i imagine progress will slow that been said not sure how these new lock down rules will effect me or the rest of us..
will post more when i have more but in the meantime please stay safe
