This what you get with an incomplete Subaru Brat from a job lot off e-bay, running gear and chassis from a MK1 GTI and surplus Chevy/unknown bits from the parts box.
I'm going for cross between a 60's show rod and a modern stance look car.

Nigel ChapmanHow better to resurrect a stagnant project than to chop the roof off. Looks a bit space age. Starting to get the creative juices flowing again on this one.

Nigel ChapmanEngine space is really tight so Ended up scratch building some basic components using the original engine parts as a guide.
Also started on the rear continental kit.

Nigel ChapmanAfter looking at loads of rear ends / Continental kits, I have my basic idea. So I'm building a basic profile inspired by a 1966 Lincoln to get a more 3D look which can then filled and sanded to the desired shape, at least that's the theory.
