Just ordered a bunch of hot rodding goodies from Shapeways. Less than $130 USD for 13 items. Most of which I would NEVER be able to scratch build with the detail let alone the time it would take to try.

Wow I agree on the price for the detail. Love the rims and quality of the parts oh and some serious horse power.

Thanks, Bill. Now I don't feel so bad about splashing out $120 on automotive clear coat.

The detailing on those items is something else alright!

I use Shapeways a lot and all the vendors I have used have been very helpfull and sometimes upscale or change parts for my requirements.
