Eduard's 1/48 He-280 is a glorified limited run kit. This tooling was produced before Eduard became a top dog, so I spent about three months on this. I used Mission Models paints, and added over 100 scratch built parts to the cockpit and gear bays. The crosses were not suitable for use from the kit's decals. You will need a lot of nose weight with this bird too! I'm happy to have this nearly forgotten piece of aviation history on display. I'm glad they went forward with this tooling, because I can't imagine anyone else would have. It's far from perfect, but it looks like one of the nine Heinkel 280s made
