I'd love to get my hands on a 1/24 or 1/25 K100. There's something about that truck that appeals to me.
You gave her a very nice smooth black dress! 👍

What's taking you so long Boz?

@Martin, currently work, mate. Things are crazy busy here, right now. However, I try to get stuff done, in the evening and mainly weekend. I also have the Lonestar build running, at the same time. So as I wait for something to dry, or parts, I switch builds

I like the KW COEs too. Especially the flat tops.

These truck builds are making me want to dig into my "Hideout" kit

Looking awesome. I had to abandon my k-100 build as it should not be 3 models to build one. The frame on the Pete 359 Revell during the same model age is a better frame if you get one with no flash. I mean some models are bad. Glad I have some spare parts. I still have 5 k100s so I'll try again later this year. I am taking pointers and so far so sweet Bozzer!

@Bill. I've wanted one of these for a long time. However, I've had second thoughts now. If it would've had a flat top option, in the kit, I may have gone down that road?
@Kyle. I too have the Papa truck and the Hideout truck. I actually managed to bag an original Bandag Bandit, still sealed! They're way down the list of builds though. Chris Greathouse did an amazing job on his Super Boss, you should check it out!
@Jarrett. My love affair with the Revell 359 is terrible! I'm itching to build my Firetruck! But I think that I'm gonna have to do a Can Do first? My holy grail of kits! Closely followed by the Bill Signs kit.

Just a cheeky teaser, for you guys. A few little touch ups and then a clear coat. Then I can move forward.

I cannot find a can do sealed. My response was every body wanted to open it and look at it. I will get one and the Bill Signs. I do not like the gap between rear axles and should include a pusher or drop down for heavier loads.

Short frame eh? I may have to deal with that when I get to mine.

Yes mate. A buddy of mine built the AMT version of this, and we compared the chassis lengths. His was bigger by around an inch. It also has a one piece cab, simple interior, and a different engine/motor. If memory serves me right, his was an early version of the K-100 and this version is actually a K-200? However, it's been a moment, so I'd advise you to double check that 👍

That one piece cab is the best. But I see where they were aiming with the other. You can have the doors open or take the top off to see the interior. Only an inch in the AMT. I thought more. I have 3 AMTs. and 3 Revells. Need to get more lol

I'm thinking about getting myself another Papa truck and messing around with it. I'll see how I feel, when I build the original? Unfortunately, it's going to be a while, because I have a Firetruck, that I've been talking about, that I have to start, very soon. Lots of scratch building and consumption of alcohol. However, I've been doing my research on it, and I think that I can pull it off? I'm just waiting for the correct cab. That's a resin option and my first delve into resin. If I can get the guy to reply to me, I'll throw him some cash and he can ship it out, then I have the dimensions I need, to start it.

Is that the Peterbilt fire truck? Looks nice. I am still honing in on the craft lol. I think I can finally finish a decent model. So has all these companies stopped making new truck designs and just focus on reissues?

Jarrett, it's actually a kitbash build, with a lot of scratchbuilding too. I saw an appliance/engine, in the states, and it's given me some inspiration. Don't worry, when I start it, you guys are invited 😉

Album info

Something that I've always wanted to try.
One thing that I've already learned is, this kit has the shortest chassis, out of all the K-100's, currently on the market. The AMT version, is slightly longer, and the Papa truck/Hideout truck, is longer still.
