Great new pics! I am in a somewhat similar position - back to hobby after almost 20yrs & just working on my 2nd "new" model
This looks really great, particularly the orange turned out superb and the light weathering makes it believable, not toy-like.
Enjoy & looking for more amazing shocker-finishes in the future!

@Chris all the orange and the grey (nose, wing edges etc.) was painted. The black stripes are all decals. There were some issues with the decals, the transitions did not match sometimes. I corrected it with paint.

I also thought both Orange & black is paint... Must have been quite a few evenings spent with water & softeners
