Ok as far as I can tell this is the re boxed kit 1980 of the 1976 kit. It is very well detailed. There was no flash. It had a few centre lines most noticeable on the magazine protection cover. The instructions sheet was quite small with a lot going on in each pane. I painted it with Tamiya desert sand and the canvas with humbrol 102. Varnish and a pin wash. I need a bit more practice on the wheels though.
