Spitfire vs Bf109

Since I’m used to enamel paint I get a bit frustrated with the difficulty of getting the acrylic paint to cover. :-/

The canopy spars turned out quite good though if I may say so myself! One of the canopy pieces of the Me109 was cracked and bent so I had to order a replacement. This was four weeks ago. ????

Both the Spitfire and the Me109 start to look like aircraft. The Spitfire is completely built but I’m not that pleased with the paintwork – Ive got to handle the brush marks in the acrylic paint.

Praised be those who stick to paintbrushes! hahaha Why did you let go of enamel? From what I`ve heard, they are better in brushpaint than acrylics.

Yes, I've noticed that! 🙂 The main reasons I go with acrylic is: I can't find my old enamel paint and I got acrylics with my recent kits. It's also so ease to be able to clean brushes and stuff with water!

Enamels make a mess. I miss the ease to use of the acrylics 🙁
