I decided to take a crack at Tamiya's highly-regarded Sturmovik kit and it's a joy to build. It goes together without an issue. MRP paints were used for the main camo. Decals are next.

The Il-2 Flying Tank is now complete. The Tamiya decals were actually quite good on this kit. The usual weathering techniques were applied and Alclad Matte was used for the final coat. Thanks for looking.

Thanks mates for the comments. I've been trying to improve my weathering technique and that the was focus on this one. It's a fun kit to build -- no headaches.

@Sebastian - Yes, I used the kit decals and they were excellent; surprising for Tamiya as their decals are usually thick and difficult to get to settle in panel lines.

Thanks again for all the comments. As a quick update, this model was able to achieve a Gold medal at IMPS ModelPalooza in Orlando Florida on October 9, 2021 and 1st place, "1/48 Prop, Allied" at IMPS regionals ModelFest in Cape Canaveral on May 1, 2022. Thanks again.
