Just started the new Eduard Do 17Z-2 kit. Nice PE details in the cockpit, which is now complete. Finishing up the build then it's on to paint.

Build and main painting is now complete. Mr. Color lacquers were used for RLM 65, 70, and 71. Faded and shaded each color for panel variation. Lots of masking but I'm happy with the result.

Excellent job with base colors and shading. I am a fan of acrylic lacquers too and I have been using AK Real Colors on my last few projects. The only draw-back is that I must be very careful with ventilation and wearing proper PPE when spraying. The results are much better than water based acrylics (at least for me).

F1+FS is now complete. It's a nice kit with a very detailed cockpit. The Eduard PE really makes it pop. The decals went on without any problems. I decided to mask and paint the pink formation markings. I used the usual weathering techniques. Thanks for looking!

looks awesome - the colours seem spot on to me and the weathering is very realistic

What a fantastic and QUICK build, I'm impressed...and a little jealous as I am a slow builder. ? I especially like the cockpit area, nicely done. The good thing about a greenhouse canopy is that you can see clearly into the cockpit, the bad thing about a greenhouse canopy is that it is a greenhouse canopy...too much masking. Again - well done!

Beautifully done. Just ordered one of these, looks amazing. ¿Have you replaced the guns for resin ones, or the included ones are good enough?.
