Started! Clear parts were blended in.

When you say blended in, do you mean you glued on the provided clear parts?

I've been wondering if it might be a good idea to drip some gloss coat solution over each window on airliner kits, to try fill the small gap found around the window openings, but I have so far not tried this myself. :| Working with gloss coat makes me nervous, a speck of dust anywhere and I go "oh crap".

Thanks guys 🙂
Treehugger, yes, I used provided clear parts. Their shape was flat, so I decided to glue them in the way to be slightly higher than the edge of the fuselage and then sanded down to follow the fuselage shape. Took me the whole weekend to do this ... After all I have polished outer side and applied some "Klear" from inside, so that improved transparency significantly ... In the past I used "Micro crystal clear" to fill the gaps around window openings no problem and that what I would recommend to use nowadays ...

The fuselage is glued eventually. Lot of sanding, filling and etc. It was all the weekend taken and still not fully completed ...

Priming revealed some imperfections, so another weekend is required to fix them ...

Painted and masked anti-icing surfaces ... Strange problem with the Tamiya masking tape - left the residue on primed surfaces. Took several hours to clean the model ... It was so hard to remove the tape, so it was even tearing apart and I thought this process would break up the model. Anybody knows why this could happen? Primer was dried for at least a week, so 100% this is not a cause ...

Old tape?

Not sure ... I think I bought it 1-2 years ago ... How old it should be to become misbehaving?

That's strange, my tapes are also not so young, but they behave (at least till now). Have you tried soaking the tape in water before removal? (in case it's the yellow one)

Igor Kondrashenkov
No I haven't soaking it. I've never experienced such bad behaviour, so I think this must be a reaction with the primer ... I'm going to start painting soon, so will see if it sticks that badly to Gunze paint ... for me it is almost no alternative to Tamiya tape and if it goes that bad I'll get stuck with no solution then...

The panic is over. Tape was behaving as it should, so I suspect that it was a reaction with the primer.
