These don't work for me at all I wonder if it has something to do with living in the tropics

Total waste of money - just place the glue in a tea candle and apply from there and no clean up required either

:) I may add them to the tools list :)

This is just another one of those products that can be easily substituted by using stuff laying around the home.

I would add the following to this list, I am sure there are many more. However a work colleague of mine swears he couldn't live without his Ammo toothpicks :)

Mr. Color Mr paint station (Gunze Sangyo GUNGT68, No)
Brass Toothpicks (Ammo by Mig Jimenez A.MIG-8026, No)

No Mr. Color Mr paint station (Gunze Sangyo GUNGT68)No Brass Toothpicks (Ammo by Mig Jimenez A.MIG-8026)

Mr paint station is simply a scratching box for cats... probably sold for price X3?

I use wooden toothpicks. Just a tad softer than brass, so less likely to damage my paint

I am not sure this topic is 100% correct - Navypedia has these as Torpedo boat /Destroyer Boykiy-class - I cannot find other references other than the Wiki article where I believe the current categorisation comes from. To my mind the wiki article is in error as the tonnages are incorrect. I have not requested to change anything as references are limited at the moment however I have put the Boykiy name in the ALT.

I just clear coated a painted cockpit with Humbrol Clear Satin Varnish (undiluted) at 20psi and it turned a sort of opaque white when it dried - any ideas of what causes these sort of issues? I'm struggling to find a troubleshooting guide on Youtube at the moment so thought I should ask here.

Update - could it be humidity - I noticed something on the web which said it can be caused by humidity issues - I live in the tropics so humidity is definitely going to be an issue.

That's what it is, for best results, invest in a dehumidifier and keep it by were you spray at 70% or below and let it run for a few hours in the room before you spray.

Richmond
Thanks Bob, I have since invested in a dehumidifier which has solved the issues

Not sure the period stated on the kit is correct - Göta was stricken in 1923 but converted in 1926 to barrack ship and sold only in 1938.

According to Wikipedia the 206 class contains submarines U13 to U30 with 12 being upgraded to 206A's

However Global Security states their were 14 upgrades U13 to U18 (6) , & U22 to U26 (5) U28 to U30 (3)

Irrespective all the kits on Scalemates are 206A's anyway

Therefore I suggest we merge these 2 topics into 206A
