Nice collection. The B-26 is my favourite from this lot.
Nice builds, the comments you provided helped me in knowing some of the good and bad of the kits
Lovely builds 🙂
Thanks Gorby, Dave and Guy for the comments. The B-26 took me a long time to build. Lots of problems came up. Old kits are challenging. Now I'm building another old kit: the Airfix Short Stirling 1/72. Although being older than the B-26, I'd say it's not as bad as I expected.
I have yet to acquire that particular model, always wanted one.
I bought mine on eBay from a lady in the U.S. (Maine). Paid 10 USD. It comes with a tractor (David Brown) and its driver, a bomb trolley and 16 bombs. It will make a nice diorama. On the Airfix site it says it's out of stock. I've been trying to improve the model by scratch building some details such as the cockpit and the wheel wells which are devoid of details. I'll post pictures of the model when it's completed. The Short Stirling is an impressive bomber, I've always admired it. it's a real shame that no one has survived the war. There's this Stirling project going on in Britain. I believe some enthusiasts are trying to rebuild one from parts found in different places. Tx for the comments Dave.

Great finish 🙂
Nice work on both of them but the Stirling is my favourite.
Thanks for the feedback gorbygould
Got one of these in my stash.Built one in the late seventies as a kid.Totally agree one of my fav bombers and it was the largest operated by Bomber Command during ww2.
Did you make the tractor and bomb trollys as well.( forgot to ask)
No David, I didn't. I've saved them for a diorama of a British WW2 airfield I'm going to build. It's a shame no Stirling has survived the war.
You've done a great job on the Stirling Alex, very impressive. 🙂
Very impressive work Alex 👍
Thanks very much for the feedback Guy and James. Appreciate it
G'day Alex, I love the Lancs, however, I'm just as fond of the Stirling which has become the unsung hero of Bomber Command. It's a pity they don't get the same attention as the Lancs. A great build, mate, really outstanding. Cheers, raafbloke
mainstream 1/48 would be a dream as with other ww2 Brit bombers.

Academy/Minicraft (2120) Focke-Wulf Fw190A6/8 - 1/72. Nice kit, very detailed for 1/72. The only problem was the decals, which simply disintegrated when I tried to apply them. I had to buy a new set from Eagle Cals. I airbrushed it with Humbrol and Hobby Color paints (RLM 70, 71, 65, 24, 04), This is an A6 version.
Nice work mate 👍
Lovely models and great subtle weathering. 🙂
Thanks Guy. 🙂
