very nicely done
Oh. Awesome winter story.
Beautifuly done 👍
Where did you get the tree from? 🙂
I got them from here: https://www.gmodelscene.com/product/gmodelscene-pine-tree-200mm-gms03/ Not recommended if you want to use any kind of product on them though, the colouring will get into litteraly everything. Even after multiple layers of clear coat and paint I couldn't prevent the snow from turning green.

Am I Dutch? Check!
Is this a Dutch subject? Check!
Am I in? Obviously! 😄
Welcome gentlemen! Glad to have you onboard. Now I have you here anyway, what do you think is the correct colour for a Dutch Leopard? It seems to be either olive drab or gelboliv...
I would go with Gelboliv myself. But I'm not read up on Dutch Army color schemes. Perhaps we have some Dutch Army veterans here who were around before the NATO tri color camo came along.
I'm also inclined to go for the gelboliv option, but that's nothing more than an educated guess
The one I saw in the Soesterberg museum last year looked a tad more lighter and browner than Gelboliv. But as it was restored you can't be sure. Maybe RAL 7013 might comeclose, that's the Austrian Bundesheer colour.
I am sure the Leopard 1 at Soesterberg has the wrong colour. Which is strange, because they have another Leopard 1V with the correct colour. RAL 7013 seems possible.
Nice! A Leo. I will take a seat. 😄
Hi Jasper, did you print those stowage bins and smoke dischargers yourself?
Hey Patrick, yes I did print those myself. You can also see those same parts on my Leopard 1V in the Engine Trouble diorama. Engine Trouble | Album by Jasper_Breur (1:35)
Nice! Well done! 👍

Assembly complete on this fairly straightforward build. Unfortunately riddled with sinkmarks, but still a nice build. 3D printed parts and some upgrades from LeopardWorkshop add extra detail and interest
Oh, a Leo! I will take a seat. 🙂
Did you model the 3D parts yourself?
Welcome onboard Ingo! I did indeed design the 3D parts myself for my previous Leopard 1V projects, but they can be used for all Dutch Leopard variants. I found that my parts are better than those provided in the kit, so I used my own 3D parts instead.
Thats cool! 👍 What software did you use to design them?
I am going to buy a 3D printer in September and already planing to design many different 3D parts for my Leo 1 & 2 builds. Not sure what software to use.
I am currently scratchbuilding an Leopard 2PL but want to design the parts in 3D and print them.
I use Autodesk Fusion360. It's easy to use and there are many tutorials for the software online. I'm absolutely no expert on CAD design, but even with the little skill I have I am can make useable parts for my hobby. For me 3D printing has been a game changer. My MLC-70 project for example would never have been possible without it. What 3D printer are you planning to get? I started out with the Elegoo Mars, but recently upgraded to the Anycubic Phonon Mono X. The extra size and better resolution are fantastic. Feel free to send me a PM if you need help!
Thanks mate. I am going for ANYCUBIC Photon Mono but still unsure if i really need the X or not.
a great discussion is going on here.
Ingo, it depends on what you are planning do print with it. Small conversion parts like for the Leopard 1V or Leopard 2PL will be absolutely fine on the standard Mono, but if you want to do bigger conversions such as my MLC-70 the extra size of the Mono X will make things a lot easier. As far as details and resolution of the prints is concerned both printers are identical, and plenty good enough for 1:35 scale or smaller.
Very Nice 👍. Great preshading
Jasper, as for me i am only planing to print small parts and figures. Even if need to print something big, i can cut the model in smaller parts and glue them together. Also a colleague of mine have a Prusa i3 MK3S+ pla printer and i can ask him to print the part for me. 🙂
I think i will go with the standard Mono.

Thank you very much! The model is indeed 3D printed by me
A new competitor for Trumpeter here .......... well done 👍
That's incredible 👍
wow. thats interesting
Thank you Neuling, I wouldn't mind Trumpeter doing one of these in plastic!
Rui, Dominik; Thank you for the kind words, glad you like it!
That's amazing! Very nice work👍
Thank you James, glad you like it!

Nicely done. I really like how your weathering came out.
Awesome build and great pictures as well 👍
Looks very good! 👍
Fantastic work 👍
Thank you gentlemen! Glad to have your approval
Very nice paint job 👍
Thank you all!
Top model in every aspect. Paint work and weathering are excellent.

Nice work. I really like the canvas arround the hull 👍
Thank you Rui! That's part of the camouflage used when the vehicle is parked. Often seen on Dutch vehicles from the time.
Very cool, I like that. Nice job on the crew as well👍
Thank you very much James! The MiniArt figures were a joy to paint, even I was able to get a result that surprised myself!

Thank you Carlos. The figure is part of the DOLP set I used, but I ended up only using the head and arms from the set, as I didn't like the high-visibility jacket that the original figure had. I replaced the torso and legs with those from a MiniArt figure I had in the stash. I like this better.
Correct Patrick, everything from number plates to tactical insignia is on there.
Great project, well done 👍
Thank you Rui, glad you like it

Hi, I would like to take this opportunity and thank You for this project - a big thums up!! How did you convert the L-39 to the L-159? Do you have the conversion photos somewhere? Job well done, my friend!!
Thank you very much Jan! Glad you like it. I used 3D printed parts to make the conversion. The parts I printed were for the nose and pylons. The other parts were taken from the kit. The rear seat was deleted with some scratchbuilding. I designed the decals myself, and these were printed for me. I can't find any pictures of the conversion anymore unfortunately, but if I can help you in any way just let me know!
It´s great, the whole project was in reality to honour one of our top WWII Aces, so kudos!! Jan
Happy to be able to honour General Peřina like this, thank you again my friend!

My first attempt at an airliner in 1:144 scale. A change from military subjects, with a whole new set of challenges!
Very good result!
Beautiful work 🙂
Love it! 👍 I also started drifting into 1/144 airliners lately. Pity this kit is such a rarity, would love to get one too.
Thank you once again! I find myself starting to have an interest in airliners too lately. I've been looking hard for a 1/144 747-400 for years now, and I think I have finally found one. A shame those kits are so rare indeed. I actually got incredibly lucky with this one. I got it from a friend who wanted to throw the kit in the trash!
Lucky you Jasper. I'm currently in search of 737-200 by EE as I got myself nice racoon decal set 🙂
And for the Ryanair one, I'll go rather for Zvezda kit and 26 decals, these should still be available.
I am sure the Zvezda kit is miles ahead of this old Revell one. It's a nice kit for a first dive into 1:144 though, but nothing spectacular.
Looks very good.

No wonder this kit gave me a feeling of deja-vu. But I built the Testors version in the 20th century. I know there's a lot new parts, but the Testor's reboxing was a nice clean build.

I've seen this in Hamilkar Barkas new video, right?
That's correct Rui. I liked Michael's idea, so I wanted to contribute something too.
Thank you Nikolaos!

This is my attempt at a Cougar in 1:48 scale. The model is my first dive into 3D printed models, and after a lot of work and frustration it is finished to a decent result. Many lessons were learned, and I can tell you that plastic injection kits are here to stay. 3D printing is nice, but you can't beat a good plastic injection kit!

Just like this one! 😉
Cool!
Haha, heb precies hetzelfde contact gehad!
The Chinook is a real chunk, I have built the AHC 47, and unfortunately there is a lot of extra work, the mold making of Italeri is probably not on Tamiya level 🙁 I'm in 👍
Finished at last! Very proud of this one
Thank you very much Spanjaard!
Thank you Chaz, good luck with your Shuttle! Looking forward to seeing the result.
Great stand, maybe I will use the idea.
Thank you Ignacy. I think this beauty deserves a small update soon.

Very nice build and amazing finish! 👍
Nice built, a great tank!
Fully restored this old kit. I added new 3D printed parts, and repainted the tank with new decals to top it all off.
Again, very well done. 👍 Nice weathering too. The dry mud looks great.
very nice indeed
Thanks again Rui! Glad you like it
Thank you Spanjaard!
I really like shape of these older Leopards. Beautifully painted and weathered Jasper 👍
Thank you very much James! To me, the 'old' Leopards are the most interesting tank of the Cold War. Many interesting versions and a large number of users.
Top result! Also one of my favourite tanks.
Thank you Neuling!
