Thanks for your comment. Am very happy with the way the models turnedout....if only I'd built using a Brengun or modern Airfix kit as they are considered to be more accurate models

Album info

I wanted to capture the image of a Typhoon with tail up, full power on, full rudder throw to counteract engine torque. Cockpit open to avoid carbon monoxide buildup, pilot will oxygen mask on. This build has an Airfix prop motor inside. I,ve built metal U/c legs to support the model, with brass wire pins up thru the tyres, then used these to run power from the display base,where a small battery is placed,to the motor. The model is an Academy Kit with an added resin pilot.
Whist I don't claim the finish or markings to be up to some modelers standard's I think the model has captured the takeoff rather well?
