nice start, count me in
You're welcome! I'll pick up the pace as soon as the TF-104 is finished
Great details! I like it !
Watching. I have that one also.
Looking great. I'm in 👍
Well, unfortunately it's on hold since I cracked the canopy 🙁
What color did you use for the cockpit?
That's MRP-132 Interior Bronze Green.
Grumman's Bronze Green is kind of a mystery. I just liked the different blueish hue

wow, amazing job on that cockpit. looking forward the rest!
It may take some time for the next steps since I'm waiting for PE parts from AIMS to dress up the camera bay door.
Are the cameras of your own design? I would be interested in buying a set to my Pink Spitty from you if it's possible.
Yes, I made them based on measurements from a mate over on LSP and another friend of mine did the 3D printing. Not intending to sell them. Shoot me a message if you're interested in the .stl file.
I'll do that and find someone more local that can print it for me.

I'm interested in the 'salting' technique in photo 44? I'm learning new things all the time and haven't seen this before. How does it work? What is the purpose? Thanks. Great kit btw 🙂
@Rui It would take to long to explain in text. Do a search on You Tube.
Rui, in a nutshell, you paint in one color, let dry, sprinkle some water and drop thick salt. Wait for it to dry, so salt will stick and not fly away when you airbrush some more paint. wait for it to dry, and then remove the salt. Then you will have some interesting pattern. But yes, do check the technique in YouTube😉
Thanks for description. I just checked out some video and may try the technique on my next build. Funny thing is I never thought of using YouTube for tutorials and such. I'm not a big fan of big tech. Thanks again.
Just one little thing remaisn to add: make sure to do a test run!
I had some sort of "etching effect around the salt in my last build (lacquer over lacquer clear coat)😉
