Nice work, it is a really nice kit. Once thing you may want to consider doing, is to lightly bend the main rotor blades so it looks like they droop.

I thought about that, but i'm afraid if I try to do that, I might really mess em up

Also. With the Monogram Mi-24, the main rotor blades are a bit too long and will collide with the tail rotor blades. Nipping the tips off the main blades will not be noticeable. And do what Augie suggests too. 🙂 👍 But I do like the overall effect you have created. Well done. 🙂 👍

Maybe with a hair dryer, that might bend em without melting em to much or?

I wish I could find a 1 48 scale Havoc, I swear Italeri used to have one

Christopher. I have actually written to ICM, the Ukanian model makers asking if they would consider making a Mi-28 'Havoc' and they wrote back saying that the kit is at the 'development stage' in 1/48 scale. YES Oh to have a 'smiling assasin' looking at me from my display case. God YES. hahahaha 🙂 👍
Italeri had the 1/72 and a failure at that. 🙁

I have the ICM Spitfire Mk IX, I found it to be a very good kit, and it didn't cost much either

I love what ICM are putting out. But here is the kicker. They have been producing models for the last 50 years. TRUE. And hardly heard of in the west until 'Glastnos'. 🙂 Their 1/24 German G4 staff car is one I had a big win with at last years comp. ICM's G4 (1935 production) German Personnel Car. | Album by RedRoo

i use hot water to bend the blades. Just dip them in as long as you need to and you can exactly control how soft the plastic gets.

Album info

Even though the molds for this kit are a bit older, seems like the same kit a had in the 90s from Monogram, at least building it was the same. I think it is still a good kit. I love this helicopter, Hinds are just awesome aircraft. I painted this one on top with Model Master Armor Sand (4711) and Field Drab (1702), and I believe I used Duck Egg Blue for the underneath, but it may have also been Revell 49, forgot to write down which one I used.
