I heard the fit is rather poor. Did you have any problems during assembly?

Problem is, there is no other choice really for an injection modeled 747 as far as I know, so we either have to deal with the problems, or fix them, I kinda halfway fixed them

Oh, also, 20 grams is not enough weight in the front like it says in the instructions, I would go with 30, i put 21 grams and it is still leaning back

😄 Yes, I read it! I think I will leave it in the box as a decorative part in my apartment until there's a decent kit available to put Eddy's decals on. 😉

The Revell 747-800 should be nice. A shame that Bruce didn't lease one of those for the tour...

despite its problems, with some putty, sand paper, and a whole lot of patience, it can be made to look descent, to make it look really good though I think would require more engineering skills than I posess.

Just a note, you see how its tilting backwards. The amount of weight it tells you to put in the nose, double it because its wrong. Unfortunately I did not know this until it was too late, and since it will be hanging from the ceiling, it wont make any difference, but for those that want to build one and have it sitting, got to put more weight in the nose.

Album info

Here is the build so far, I think despite the fact that the model has a lot of problems and the molds have to be about 50 years old, I think it looks descent so far.
