So, I finished the Eduard Bf 109 G-14! 🙂
That, my friends, was a seriously great and fun kit! After the disaster that is Hasegawas F-18F this was actually buckets of FUN.
The fit is near Tamiya-levels, the engineering mostly is pretty smart too, except for a very few bits. Still: next to no gaps that needed filling, and since I hate filling / sanding / rescribing, I generally ignore that shit, so it's nice to see another kit that has actually little need in that regard.
My goal was to build up more experience in blackbasing, general airbrushing, weathering and not so much meticulous building itself. I also wanted to see how far I got in the year that I am back in the hobby, thus I compared it to my very first model, Revell's Bf 109 F-2, which was the kit I returned with.
