Thanks Marty! I will keep trying!
Come visit Peter, I will teach you the little I know!
Lochsa, the right paint, lacquer, and clear coated with 2k. Left to harden for five days then sanded with 6000 grit, 8000 grit and finally 12000 grit. Then cut back with a cutting compound, polished and waxed.
Dietmar, me too mate! Not a lot of parts but they have character and stand out more than Lamborghini Ferrari ect.
Bugs, they are craftsmen and do a beautiful job. I have one more left in the stash, a model T touring car which I have already decided on colours for. And it ain't black! I really feel for the people of Ukraine in general and the people of ICM particularly. When this is over and they get their business up and running again I will order as much as I can from them to support them.

Fantastic paintwork Pete. The brass? radiator housing and trim accessories complements that shade of green really well. Nicely done 👍

Peter, a question because I like the picture 26 so much: Is the vegan dog your pet or wild and just visited you?

Alec, it is still pretty rough in spots but I have improved. To be fair I doubt a Renault has ever looked that shiny and I also have my doubts that they clear coated in 1910 either but I have a need to get better at this car thing.
Jimbo, one thing I have learned is if you paint a model a very dark shade it is difficult to see on display if you don't have a well lit display cabinet like a Kiwi mate of mine. The brass I am very disappointed with. It is supposed to be polished brass but just one touch dulls it.
Spanjaard, I thank you!
Villiers, that it is appreciated makes it worthwhile, thank you for dropping in!
Bugs, It is actually illegal to keep a kangaroo here but if one wants to leave it will jump a fence anyway. A friend found her abandoned by her mother, kangaroos do sacrifice a Joey when threatened by a predator to escape. Sounds terrible but the mother will usually have another in stasis internally and ready to replace a lost youngster. In his case my mate had room, food and water, and an old dog who was happy with the new company. They get along fine. The dog pretty much ignores the 'roo most of the time. But bed time they do cuddle up on occasions.
