Bought an airbrush last week. Never used one before. Thought I'd use this armor kit as a guinea pig since it didn't cost me anything. I'll be less heartbroken if I make a complete mess of it. The original owner started painting parts but realized they were never going to finish it and gave it away. Lucky me.

Hi! And how do you like airbrushing?😉

Hi, Holger. So far I love it (except for cleaning the airbrush). I find it hard to go back to brushwork except for fine details. Wish I had taken the plunge sooner.

😄 Yeah, cleaning does not make fun except you have a ultrasonic cleaner. I can recommend such a device very much. And they are cheap. 20 Bucks or so.

Bradley? Is this the real Bradley Furminger? Armour? And, a KT at that! I did this kit a couple of years ago and was VERY proud of the result. Now, I look at it and cringe! Glad to see you branching out and trying new stuff. How is the tool collecting going? Bet you have more than a hobby knife now! 😉

This isn't branching out, this is reverting to my roots. I used to do armour exclusively. Just got into a car groove over the past year. The toolkit is expanding. I now have an airbrush, tweezers, sprue cutters, and a file along with some much better paintbrushes. No dedicated workspace yet, still playing time-share with the dining table. But my youngun is getting more involved with the hobby so it may be easier to convince my wife that a hobby room would be a good investment.

I like it Brad! Good job on the camo mate! Next tool investment should be some lights. Canada must be very dark and gloomy this time of year. Tooth picks are cheap and you'll be surprised how many uses you will have for them. Goin' good mate!

Thanks, Peter. It is a bit dark and gloomy - lots of wintery weather blasting us these days. But I like the look of models more in natural light than in artificial light.
