As a precaution I cut off all excess decal film but I needn’t have worried, these were actually pretty good. Added some stenciling from the spares box.

When this kit appeared, the general reaction was like: yes, now we don’t have to build the Mach 2 kit. But this has one has some serious issues as well: terrible fit and overcomplex engineering. Never used this much filled before - not even on Mach 2 kits!
However in the end, you can end up with a model that catches the gracious lines of the seaplane.
