MICHAEL WOODHOUSE Good effort on interior - more than I could attempt as where do you start as there is absolutely nothing given in kit as well you know. I am now starting to put everything together after a lot of 'fitting' and sanding. What paint/ colour did you use for exterior - looks like the Chocolate brown?

Paul Hi Michael, thank you and indeed chocolate brown.

MICHAEL WOODHOUSE Hi Paul - thanks for that - all finished now and used Revell Matt 84 Leather Brown for final exterior colour with a bit of Hu 110 Natural Wood marbling although that didn't work that well. Also fin decals were too small so had to 'extend' with matching paints. Enjoyed kit and looks pretty good considering age and parts. May be not Chocolate Brown but still an 'odd ball'.
Nigel I'm not sure whether the landing gear on the Ohka are a sign of optimism or pessimism.

David Januska Nice Betty and as I can see it was heavily used. Congratulations for the perfect result .

Paul Thanks all! Basically, this is a "shake and bake" kit. Most of the added details are from an Eduard set. The crew entrance door in the middle of the Hinomaru meant that I had to paint these (instead of using the decals). @Treehugger, I agree there is "room for improvement" .@Nigel those wheels are not really landing gear but part of a ground handling trolly (also included in the kit).
Paul Thanks Thomas, even though it is far from perfect I also like the end result myself - because it was such an ancient kit to start with.

Łukasz Gliński Wow, that is so cool! Lovely interior. I have very similar idea but still haven't got around to starting it yet (the kit is waiting in my stash)
Hope you don't mind me using your pics as a reference
