Going by the directions, I am skeptical of the colors. 

Once everything is put together and the decals are being added, it is starting to look better. Looks awful in the picture, but in person its nice. 

Front wheel well and cockpit joined together into the front half of the plane. Be very careful and use glue very sparingly, joining slowly and methodically. I made an error where I was holding a panel in place then gluing from the other side-- the glue wicked out and got on my fingers leaving an annoying fingerprint that I had to buff out. 

The front wheel well could be spruced up a lot with copper wiring, but that is out of the scope of this OOB build. For what you see here, I airbrushed with XF-2 then used AK markers to paint the few bits to be painted, then I used Citadel Nuln Oil to add mess and shadow.
