Wow, looks great! The winter camo (or what's left of it 😉) is fantastic. Would love to hear how you did it (paint type, hairspray medium, etc.).

Hi Alec, thanks a lot.. I applied an enamel varnish on the base coat, after I applied several layers of hairspray.. Let the whole thing dry and I applied a pretty heavily thinned down Tamiya flat white.. It was a light layer 'cos I wanted a pretty warned/ end of winter look.. Thanks a again I hope it helps. 😉

Thanks for the info Norbert, much appreciated. When spraying Tamiya, what thinner did you use? Was water used to soften the white and what tool did you for removal?

Hi I used Tamiya X-a 20 thinner quite a lot.. once fully dried I applied water with a tooth brush (used one) to gently activate the hair spray. Once start to peel off I switched to a normal but still stiff brush.. I would recommend to apply several layer off hairspray to dry ..

Album info

I have started to do the winter camo for this Sdkfz 251. It will be a very worn one. Hopefully I can get a realistic effect with the "hairspary" technic...
