Ooo... someone else working on an Academy 1/72 Wildcat! Lemme see! I have a project in the works as well, all scratchbuilt cockpit and wheel well, So I'm keen to steal good ideas. I also scratched up some wing folds. Are you going down that route?

Yeah. I agree. I have both of those and the Airfix one is in a class by itself. I prefer the Academy one to the Hasegawa one, for a few reasons... including the fact that I picked up 3 Academy kits for about $2 apiece. 😉
