Running wheels for my "Leichttraktor"

Album image #1
First there was a railroad-axle, isolated on each side (very important)

Album image #2
This was roughly cut in half (doesn´t matter...)

Album image #3
One was put into the Proxxon and the standing rim was rasp away

Album image #4
Freshly out of the Proxxon (upwards are the already finished running wheels)

Album image #5
Then i remove the rest of the axle, cut of the upper End of the Isolation and push the remaining isolation out (small black parts)

Album image #6
Now a 2,4mm tube from Evergreen fits perfect in the wheels, just adjust right distance and glue it with Superglue (8 mm in total), cut of the standing ends of the tube and the wheelpair is ready...23 more to go...

Album image #7
Have the first side finished for attaching to the hull. Went easier than I thought. Now i will start with the other 6 Bogeys-pairs for the other Side.

Album image #8
One mor photo from a different angle. The plastic sticking between the running wheels is just for centering the wheels to keep them straight. This ist just sticking and will be removed when i finish the tracks.
