Thanks JW. This was my first little foray into silicone mold making and resin casting. I wanted to start with an easy subject for a 1-piece mold, so I couldn't resist good ol' No Face... you can't get a much simpler figure. The fact that the first resin I could get my hands on was a clear type gave me an idea... a translucent black No Face where you can see the frog man inside him. Stay tuned to see if it works.😉

Just added a new pic. I had to call a do-over after the frogman sank all the way to the bottom of the mold on the first try. It wouldn't look right to have him sticking out of the top of No Face's head, so I yanked him back out and had to peel off the still tacky resin as best I could. On the second attempt I glued a bit of fishing line to his foot and tethered him in place. He was a bit roughed up by his first immersion, but hopefully it won't be too noticeable in the final work.

Meh... had a little trouble with the fade... but good enough. Now that I have the mold, I might try this one again. Especially when I now know how well the frogman inside will be seen. Maybe I'll add some flecks of gold too...😉
