Who's been a busy boy! I do like the MiG-3, and I do like your model Greg. You will probably have someone saying that some of it was wooden – but I think it looks great in natural metal.

Mostly busy taking pictures. 😉 I figured out a better way to snap pics, so I re-did a bunch of my previous MiG-21 and MiG-3 builds. I do know it was mostly wooden, but I wanted to do a "proof of concept" for a jet and prop combo. I think it worked, but I'm still struggling with how to tackle the project. Each jet is being "re-interpreted" as a WWII-era prop, but should I just paint them exactly the same, or should it be more indirect and maintain a more realistic consistency oF the WWII subjects? I dunno...

I got the idea after seeing some Bf-109s painted to match specific Gundam models - paint and markings. They looked very cool. But, on the other hand, do I really want to paint an F-7F Tigercat gull grey with black trim to match Micky's F-14A? A natural metal MiG-3 is another.
