Look good so far Russ. I'm more and more tempted to try one of these biggie's - probably not a Spit though.

I've heard good things about the new Airfix Tempest. I'd have probably gone for the Hurricane first choice (personal preference!) but this was going cheap.
Been building it with my daughter, it's going in her bedroom so I figured an iconic Spit wasn't a bad idea 🙂

The Typhoon would be my first 1/24 choice – the Mosquito is just too expensive. I did three when I were a lad, Bf 109, Mustang & Stuka but in those days you don't stop to consider where you are going to store them. They also weren't built with much care and attention.
I keep hoping that someone will release a decent and affordable 1/24 Me 262 – I would definitely buy it.

I'm back to Braille scales after this - storage issues also. Although I do have a soft spot for the Bf110 if I ever see a 1:24 one... 🙂

Looks good Russ. I looks like it's about time they re-tooled this kit, just had a look and it was done in 1970! Not far off fifty years old.

Thanks 🙂
And I quite agree - it fought me all the way!

Album info

1:24 scale Spitfire mk Vb - ancient kit (1973), more flash than Gordon and the fit is worse than me in a pair of Levi 501's. But managing to make it look half decent at least!
