In 1939 a swiss doctor organised for childern with pertussis flights in a Fokker F. VII with open windows at 3000 m. He hoped to cure this illness with these flights. My father and my aunt had the chance to fly on the first of these three flights.
The AZ Kit is quite tricky to build. Especially the resin motors, the photoetched parts and the dia film front screen, which is quite difficult to bend and place. The motor exhausts were left of, because they are to be bent out of wire by the modeller. I didn't have the time and the courage to try this.
