Eduard Mk.Vb converted to Mk.VI. Livery, markings and color scheme taken from Scale Aircraft Modeling, Volume 42, February 2021, article by Paul Lucas, "RAF High Altitude Schemes, 1940-1945 Part 1", pg 64 - Spitfire HF Mk.VI, BS124, Aboukir, 1942. The upper surfaces are painted in Deep Sky (Vj 71.090) or Dark Mediterranean Blue FS35050 (UA LC034), Dark Slate Grey FS34096 (Vj 71309 or UA238) and the undersides are finished in Light Mediterranean Blue FS35177 (Vj 71.113 or UA126) Note: The upper surface colors extend around the leading edge and back onto the under surface of the wings for a distance 12 inches at the root, tapering down to perhaps 2 inches at the tip. Spinner red Letter A is white.
