Getting ready for the Eduard PE flap insert. Also, plugged the holes where the rocket rails were supposed to go.

I didn't have the correct Russian blue, so I went with Vallejo's German underside blue. It's bluer than this image would lead you to believe but way too grey.

Painting the markings was easy. I had an extra set of MonteX masks.

There is much more variation in the white than the camera picks up. It was painted over a black primer after all.

I'm going white over blue. I don't have any white aircraft, so it will look good next to all the greens and grey and brown.
