For the fact that you didn't want to do much, you managed to get a very convincing result!
Really like the camo pattern and it's a good paint job overall.
It's very presentable!

Something different I must say, but very cool and a wonderful result! The weathering looks just fine to me. A fantastic beast you made 👍🏻

Thanks very much everyone. 🙂
I thought I could have done much better with the painting and I always rush the weathering because by that stage my head has moved onto my next build.
Glad you like it and I would certainly recommend the kit. 👍

Thanks Alec. 🙂
I really enjoyed building this kit, even though it has a few issues.
I forgot to add a photo of the inside of the cab - now added.

love the cracking comments, and you certainly cracked this one. it looks simply perfect.
One more step and you will be doing 1/144, come to the dark side!! 😄 😄

😄 😄
I have built a couple of 1/144 aircraft Spanjaard and loved it (just noticed that I didn't put them on ScM). But, I'm not a brave man – the thought of masking more 1/144 canopies is enough to wake me up screaming.

you know you want it, gorby..... do not resist the dark side (of masked 1/144 canopies) 😄 😄

You're a very bad man to want to put me to such abject misery. 😉

Gorby, you're absolutely correct abt those 1/144 scale canopies! Can't wait to finish building out the last few in this scale from my stash.

Don't have any locomotives in the stash, but your outstanding build is a great incentive 👏👏

"not good at weathering" he said...and "no jokes" he said... what else can be said here? Fantastic work, Gorby!

Album info

I've been lying to myself for so long. It's time I stood up and announced to the world the real me. It seems that I have finally transitioned to one seventy-tooth. The one true scale and proud. I would shout it from the rooftops, but someone will probably complain to the council. Bit nippy here as well and I'm not keen on heights or to be more precise, plummets. I'm not that bloody proud. Mind you, I've got a couple of one forty-hate kits, so I it looks I swing both ways. Now that I've called my Englishness into question with that unseemly emotive outburst I'll pretend it never happened and move on.

Aaaannnyyyway…. I know nothing about trains, and what better way to prove that, than by building one.
I kept the weathering to a minimum because…. well because I'm not very good at it.

This is intended to be the first part of a diorama, so you'll probably be seeing it again later in the year.
Thanks for avin a ganders.

If you're interested in the build report (sorry, no jokes in this one 🙁 )
