Making models this time around was an accident. I never intended it. All I wanted was a few 1/72 ready made models of significant WW2 fighters as none of my childhood models had survived. How was I to know you had to do it yourself to get it right.
World War Two single seat fighters are my area of interest. I have completed the 138 1/72 models that constitute those (and significant variants of) that were operational in any way. I am now starting on the types that were too late or not wanted. I have a stash of 52 kits that will keep me going for three to four years. Then I will be 78 and growing out of my second childhood, scary! Prior to all this the last model I made was in 1966.
