Cockpit ready for primer
Cockpit painted
All primed and painted a little
Dry brushed the BMW engine to give it a little life.
Finished for tonight. Pleased with progress!
Dial decals. Cut them out from carrier film. Not sure I like them. Will dull them down with a clear coat and a brown wash

Citadel Agrax Earthshade wash to age the cocoit

Mottled black based underside looks great!

Dan CookNice kit. No where near the detail of the Eduard one. Goes together like lego! Focussing on the mottled paint job.

Dan CookDetail is not great. The gaps on the side in the pics are bit disappointing considering it is Tamiya. Goes together well.

Thomas BischoffComing along nicely 👍 - I have found my references only now: Willi Maximowitz flew a "Sturmbock" which means it had additional armour plates on both sides of the cockpit (looks like the boxart is showing them) and it lacked the MG 131 above the engine. The fuselage crosses were not pure black but were oversprayed with gray.

Dan CookTamiya kit has stickers for the armour plates. Not a fan and I have cut the top mg's off above the engine. Need to sort the scheme. Going to paint the RLM 76 on the underside later.
