French farmer and his granddaughter are stopped on their way to the market.
Cart is from Academy/Masterbox set and this is pure Masterbox kit. Parts not numbered on sprues but only on instructions, unclear instructions, bad fits requiring drilling, significant flash and flash in places where you can’t be sure whether it’s actually flash or part you need to keep. And of course this being cart you can’t look it up because so many types exist. Details are OK. Meanwhile horses required significant filling of gaps. This kit is sold separately by MB as well, 2012 vintage. As I’ve said when building field kitchen also included this mix are two kits put together in one box and sold as new kit. Overall this is not a good kit and there are better cart kits out there. I used AK Interactive’s “Old & Weathered Wood” and tried my hand at modulation. Results are so-so, contrast is a bit harsh, maybe I should have mixed paints for transition area but in such a small kit’s hard to be so creative.
Figures are pretty decent
