Top Tiger, Henry!👍
Nice finish, not too much dirt - I like it.
Is the base a general presentation piece?

Thanks Ulf. The base is a general presentation item. Just a piece of 1/8th styrene with some dirt and static grass and a few items from my stash. I got the idea for building this type of base from Jim Wechsler's Sherman book by Kalmbach. This was the first one I attempted and want to improve on this but I think it gives perspective to the model without detracting from it.

I never wanted to us a base or add figures but began doing so recently and have come to realize that if done right they can compliment the model you are wanting to display. I just need to find room to display them when they are done. My cabinet is getting full.

I am working on a 9 vignette project centered around Villers Bocage. My other projects see here are for that endeavor. All have figures and a base. There is a book from Kalmbach by a guy name Jim Wechsler that talks about using figures and bases. That was part of my inspiration to do the project.

Thanks. I did that as a review for the AMPs website. That is a fun way to get out of the modeling comfort zone. Doing a review also challenges the writing and photography skills. I did subjects that I would never do on my own and enjoyed it a great deal. You can see all the reviews done by AMPs members at this web site amps-armor.org/ampssite/default.aspx
