Grazie Roberto, ho molti dubbi sulla effettiva "correttezza" storica...più libri sfoglio e più i dubbi aumentano sulla camo che ho scelto 🙂

Martien Lourens
Whether it is 100% historically correct, is no problem for me, Cristian. It looks very good (L'interno sembra perfetto lì) google transl 🙂

This is one amazing finish, Congrats Christian! Love the weathering effects!

Mart it's true that often italian specialist cover the german insignia in "artistic way" 🙂 But I'm not sure that Italian Stuka was entirely RLM70.. I have found a book that sustains they were RLM70-RLM71....and I fell into a slump😉

Another great build, Cristian. Also the interior looks great. And with the weathering and other nationality marks it is become a remarkable model. Well done

Nice! Can anybody reveal to me why the Italian Stukas don't have national insigna on the upperside of the wings?
21 October 2015, 15:29
Cristian Bordina
@ Jan seems that only few picchiatello have "fasci" (itlian insigna) on upper wings, but sincerely the reason is unknown to me. I've seen also undersides fasci in inverted position...Italians are a little artists 😄

Album info

With all the doubts on the historical correctness of my model, I hope to have represented well a Picchiatello of the Italian divers.
The name "Picchiatello" born from a word-joke : "Dive" in italian is traslated with "tuffo" (if we speak of swim) and "picchiata" (if we speak of flight). The word "picchiatello" means instead fool or crazy man.
