Wow Mary, your not just a pretty face from Dubbo. The work you have done here deserves much more than just wow.
We are all most impressed with your skills mate.

Mmmhhh, interesting project to rework KGV! The shots of the modified fwd stack looks really promising. I'll take a seat and look forward to your progress.
Please allow me to point a note – the steam pipe should be pointed straight upwards according to the photo. A forward pointed steam pipe will not work proper because the airstream will force against it.

An easy nip to those will fix that, I do not plan to make absolutes to the project as it is not my own in the end eye candy and embellished details of the vessel will make an old sea dog I know and admire happy. But if want to post me pictures provided along with information much like the Christian I do not hesitate to absorb it from you, always a pleasure thank you.

Does anyone have side pictures of the midship that reveals how many port holes are on/under the utility ship stows and any other odd bits for this area; thanks Augie and Nutta.

Superb job... still don't know whether I would undertake such a job... What do you use for the rigging? is that streched sprue?
20 August 2015, 13:24
Mary Lawton
Yes just stretched spruce, I wanted to keep it simple nothing fancy. Even the railings are just a generic brand pulled of other old kits that are also in a big box of ready built kits. Thank Micha and Bart.

Album info

Just about a week and half ago this kit came into my possession already built and well in very poor condition not only that paint was layered on like a drag queens make up. Was asked to make something of her it was almost a complete tear down and rebuild, thank goodness he had most of the parts with it, it's now finished and ready to be place back on his shelf.
