Wow Mike! Like there weren't enough destroyed making the series! Over 300 chargers! Not to mention a few more trashed in the fast and furious movies, and then the movie " Dirty Marry crazy Larry! No wonder the Chargers cost so much now!

LOVE THE GENERAL ! It was this car and the Bandit car growing up watching that made me be a cop ! Oh and that crushed up posting of the General made me want to cry ! THAT WAS SOOOOOO WRONG ! LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I told Mike( like there wasn't enough chargers totaled on DOH!) over 300! Don since you were the 1st to ask, when I get done I'll PM you. The exhaust side of heads are a smidge off and you'll have to file even with the block for headers to line up under body. I need to make one more dash for the "Dirty Mary crazy Larry" car I intend to do. I'll post pics of how to do the dash. It looks good but not 100% accurate. For stats on this car look up Wikipedia " General Lee Charger", For what it's worth I've already started my 1/16 version with this same kit of Dom's Charger from Fast and furious. 1970 front bumper already made. Blown engine already installed. Movie cars are as hard as military colors, soo many variations, especially when they use any where from 26- 300 cars!

I've been pondering the thought for hours today until It finally struck me! Why would Don, the infamous airplane guy have a model car to build??? Because the General Lee flew a lot!! I can see it now with wings and a rudder and jet engines out the back! LOL
26 February 2018, 19:36
Donald Dickson II
LMAO The first models I built were cars. I have several in my stash. I also have a number of Star Treck and Star Wars kits. AND just got the Warp resin Space 1999 Eagle kit. So I dont do JUST planes.

Well, OK, Since I was about 14 I have done only planes. BUT I DID do cars. And fully intend on it again! LOL
26 February 2018, 21:37
Tim Heimer
Glad you got a laugh on that Don! Hey I'm on the fence as to putting a sound clip in of it playing" Dixie and the boys yee haa" Looking for yea's or nay"s. Thanks

Great looking General Lee. I am not much of a car guy, but have built the Fast and Furious stuff. I like Don have a boat load of Star Trek and Star Wars stuff, but my wife won't let me build any of it.
9 March 2018, 00:54

19 March 2018, 22:36
Tim Heimer
O.k..Now after several days of research on decals I've decided to bite the bullet and buy another kit! And to do something with that kit I needed more resin to make parts for that! So until I get everything this will be put on hold.
22 March 2018, 14:10
Peter Hardy
Ah Ha! A decision! Bleedin' Decals, who would have thought money would solve a problem? Just dig up another 44 gallon drum full of cash in the back yard and spend spend spend!
22 March 2018, 22:25
Tim Heimer
No sheet!!! out of the frying pan and into the fire! I have so much time, money and aggravation into this project that I had to! I've got my black Lab helping me dig the holes in the back yard!
23 March 2018, 00:24
Tim Heimer
I ended up getting the decals! So I'm good to go. I need to post pics of the ZZ top car that I've made good progress on as well as finish the General!

Very, very nice - a lot of trouble taken, but for a result not seen every other day 👍 Great details & work on the base and pose

Now the elongated square box clearly calls for 2 more to join it - a mid-flight & landing diorama sections in the future?😉
