All done with this one! Nice and easy build, pretty happy with how it turned out even though this is definitely not my comfort zone. But I am sure I will do another WWII aircraft one of these days, maybe a Spitfire next time. 🙂

That's a fantastic looking build Michael, and a nice change to see a 109 in Spanish markings.
Bravo mate 👍

Nice work. Unusual choice in markings.

Beautiful Michael...also a WW2 plane in your hands works well...great job my friend 👍 I've one thing, I think your suspension legs are the wrong way round ... they have to be reversed...?!

Daniel
Great job, a very unusual and modern looking 109. I especially like the name of its home base 😄
The small legs correction shouldn't be this hard 🙂

You really should build more WW2 stuff!

Well crap, I see it now! I had no idea it was wrong, thanks Mates for pointing the landing gear goof out to me so that I can correct it. I would never have realized I had it backwards. I also realized that I forgot to re-attach a couple parts I had knocked off during the painting process. So it is back to the bench tonight to fix up my booboos!

With that said, thank you Sebastian, James, Dale, Daniel, Roland, Soeren, Kees, Michael, Neuling, Nathan, Eelco, Danial, and Clifford! I appreciate all of the kind feedback on my not-so-perfect model! It makes me feel very good to have you all in my corner and comment on my attempt to go down the not so familiar street of WWII aircraft!

I am not an expert on the Messerschmitt, so I didn't notice the flaws you mentioned. What I did notice however is a great paintwork with a not too subtle nor overdone weathering and an overall nice looking model! 👍

Nathan Dempsey
Well said Alexander.

Lookin' Good there Michael! Not bad for prop #2 LOL..... I can't believe how small these planes are!

Thanks Erik, Björn, Alexander, Nathan, David, and Rui! I really appreciate all the kind words!

Well, I fixed the landing gear issue and reattached some doodads that I had knocked off and forgot to add before taking the original photos. Both landing gear snapped while trying to remove them, so I had to kinda guess on the angles, I think I am close but at this point close is good enough for me.

I took some new photos after fixing all of the issues. Now it's on to my next project!

Missed the build, but at least came in to see the result... Which is a thing to see, no question about it! While I myself do not think about doing something that does not feature a jet nozzle at the end, or at least a metallic finish, it was a pleasure to see some of the 4-th gen masters do a prop... Great job Michael, and a cool choice of topic 👍 Maybe a Pyrenean He-111 to accompany it, some day?😉

Thanks Slavo and Clifford!

Slavo, you never know... but it will be quite some time before I do a WWII aircraft again. 🙂
