Congratulations with this built. You must have chirurgical talents. I tried to build this kit, but clumsy me only managed to stick it more or less together.

@Erik kit really is tiny, but fortunately so are my hands&fingers 😄 but, joke aside, there are some moments where this kit make some trouble (fuselage halves glued together are thiner than upper part of fuselage that goes above them, wing strut holes are not in line with fuselage ones,...) ... so there were some nasty moments, but in general it was nice kit to build...

Album info

Very nice Eduard model.
Wings have subtle fabric texture moulded so it gives a bit of authenticity in the end.
Cockpit details are simply fantastic with all those gauges and instruments made in combination of etched parts and decals!
Painting was a challenging "marathon" as I chose to mix all camouflage colors with 20-30% of aluminium like it was the case with real thing. All color patches were masked with Faber-Castell "Tack-it", and final result turned out very pleasing.
Cockpit and propeller were painted to Sail color as base, then few thin layers of Vallejo Smoke for wood texture, followed by artistic oil Burnt Umbra for laminated parts, and few thin layers of Tamiya Clear Orange in the end to emphasize wood color
Rigging was done with fishing nylon 0,073 and 0,14mm
Weathering is finished with artistic oils
One of the kits I enjoyed to build, and at the moment stands as my favourite WW1 kit built so far.
