Soeren . Danke Holger :)
Vermutlich am Ende eine der tristesten Erscheinungen des Groupbuild :D

Daniel Aggressor-Grauzone! (see what I did there!

Stephan Ryll Nice one Soeren it's a nice one for the GB

Stefan Schacht Cool, bin dabei :)

Soeren . Welcome Guys :)

Jop und wegen diesem Umstand, weil Sie halt als "Böser" eingesetzt wurde, finde ich es passend als "Aggressor" :)

Hans Robben Too bad they sold them. But they soldier on in Poland. Good to see a Sovjet design in the GB.

Soeren . Welcome guys :)
Didn't thought such a not so colorful aggressor would get that much attention ;)

Carsten Gurk Nice bird, but not really an aggressor, is it?
14. August at 10:38:24
Soeren . It was
"Reunified Germany inherited 24 MiG-29s from East German Air Force. They formed the JG73 "Steinhoff" squadron, that was partially used as Aggressor squadron. NATO air forces compared the Luftwaffe's Fulcrums with western types during NATO training exercises. Many western pilots were able to train combat tactics against a real Russian fighter flown by highly experienced pilots and to execute air-air-combats against 'the real thing'."

And this is an Aggressor in my opinion
14. August at 10:43:22
Carsten Gurk I know ;) Imho JG 73 was a regular Luftwaffe wing just flying an "odd" aircraft. They toured the NATO countries to provide very welcome DACT opporunities against the MiG-29. But to me an "aggressor" is used by specially trained pilots using foreign tactics in dedicated aggressor squadrons.
But anyhow - really nice to see something non-US in the GB and I will follow this one closely as this specific kit is very high on my shopping list :) (though it would turn into a Polish AF MiG - I love the scheme).
14. August at 10:51:30
Soeren . Yeah sure its not the typical Aggressor Squadron - like the US have it. :)
For me it was important to look beyond what's in front of you and going to build something different. :D
14. August at 10:57:49
Carsten Gurk Hehe, same here, that's why I am going with the JASDF Mitsubishi T-2 :)
14. August at 11:01:26
Soeren . Thats also a really cool idea ;)
14. August at 11:15:14
Joachim F. Definitely following!
23. August at 18:46:36
Ben M Following - recently took pictures of the MiG-29 in the Luftwaffe museum at Berlin-Gatow.
23. August at 19:14:42
Soeren . Welcome Joachim & Ben ;)

Kermits pants I was going to do a JG73 myself but I don't want direct competition so I've chosen a Russian aggressor from Mary AB. Looking forward to watching your build as that kit is on my list.
