It feels like my "mojo" to build a kit is back, after I saw into the box of this kit 🙂

Probably to hard after it hasnt that much parts, but you can see that this kit is a little bit older. (Flesh on the parts)

Finished the cockpit, but Im not really satisfied after all....
That means I need a lot more practice of building cockpits to achieve a clean cockpit. 🙂

Also I have to get another color for smaller details inside the cockpit, because Gunze Aqua is not the best for that and I still need some more practice.
I ve only build 5 kits so far 🙂

Thanks a lot Kerry, but I still now that there are some blotchiness inside the cockpit - for example the brown line and the edge of the cockpit 🙁

So body is now also ready and its amazing that I didnt need any filler for it.
The only spot I needed some little filler was after I glued the tailfins at the body.

And dont wonder about the brown color around the cockpit, its only for me right now that I know where to mask the cockpit later with blue tac.

Kit is now primed with Gunze H305 instead of my usual color H307.
I dont now why, but I cant really sprac with 307 anymore.....
And also the rotor has now its final color (silver).

The belly is now painted in IJA grey. Next step is now to mask and then paint the upper side in Nakajima green plus the landing gear.
I didnt pre-shade this time, because there weren many panel lines at this kit so a usual panel line wash should be enough in the end.

I know the paint job of the belly is kind of unusual but it suits me best for airbrushing the camo at this kit 🙂
Hopefully I can make the green camo today and I the result will not look toooooo bad 🙂

Ive painted now the other side too.
Two or three spots are left where I need to "repair" with grey, but overall Im really happy with the result.

So after I repaired some little mishaps yesterday (yeah I love to have some of them during my builds*g*) , I will hopefully be able to spray a coat of clear today and then start with the decals 🙂

I was thinking of a little panel line wash. Chipping etc. doesnt really fit this one.
But before are all that, I will paint the wheels etc and fit the small parts on it😉

I only need to repaint the filler spots, because the strives didnt really fit as good as I hoped 🙁

Yeah after I shortend the strives. I think the result looks ok. Maybe not as good as I hope, but I can live with that.

The much harder part is now to fit the landing gear.... Hopefully this will also turn out ok😉

Painted the exhaust pipes with AK Medium Rust and also painted the wheel in silver and tire black.
Really love those Tamiya brushes 🙂
Dont know if the color of the rust really fits, but it will be probably a lot darker after the 2 coats of clear.

The finish line is in sight! Only 2 coats of clear and the weathering are missing!
Its a really lovely kit so far, besides the decals which are really fragile.....

Thx again and yeah I really wanted to build something different (nothing against a lot of FW 190s etc).
My next build is also goint to be another more "exotic" plane.
Currently Ive two kits in my mind, but I cant decide which one and also if my "experience" will be good enough of one of them.
The first kit in mind is the P1Y1 from Hasegawa (the box is smiling every day in my face) and the second one is the Ki-46 from Hasegawa.
So we will see next year which it will be 🙂

Wouldnt call me nowhere near champion.
If I would make macro pics, you would see a lot of flaws!😉

Luckily I found a way to locate the rotor a bit better than before (pic 7 was before and pic 9 is the current position)
So if anybody will ever build this, put some Blue Tac or whatever inside the shaft of the rotor to hold it steady and you can always remove the rotor with that during transport! 🙂

Moin Sören , was verlangst Du ???? ohne Ätzteile und dickes Resin schafft keiner Mehr als Du hier zeigst ( klar Ausnahmen im Scratchbau wiederlegen auch das ), dann noch als dein 4. Das war auch so nicht gemeint, sondern eher auf die doch kleinen Macken im Modell (Decals ganz besonders bzw. Lackierung mancher Kleinteile). Hier merke ich halt schon, dass noch viel Erfahrung fehlt 🙂
Und das schon mein 6tes Modell was fertig geworden ist bitte 🙂
