0,12 mm fishing line. slightly thinner (0,08 ) for antenna wires.

Well everything is on the internet already, I guess..anyway: this machine of 833 NAS took part in operation Torch: allied amphibious assault on French north Africa. It was based in Gibraltar and on HMS BITER, fulfilling anti-sub duties for the operation. Fun facts - apart from false US markings which I already described in other thread - 1. This machine is a bit of a hybrid between Mk.I and Mk.II versions, although listed as a Mk.I, it already has the taller oil cooler (therefore probably a newer Pegasus engine) and radar equipment (see the yagi antennae), but also old style generator pipes (the thingy on fuselage top behind the engine). 2. HMS BITER served with French Navy after war.
