Thanks for the friendly comments mates.
This project startet twenty years ago, I think. (the pic's with the nasty yellow background)
Thankfully, I was able to finish it in my lifetime ;)

wow and wow

Well, here my complete pic's. (an ad on to my comment above: The project was abandoned nearly twenty years! It was not a twenty year build of course)

Please consider doing another sci-fi build! I would very much enjoy seeing your process. To me, scratch building is the highest skill one can achieve in modeling, and indeed every vehicle and structure conceivable was once imagined and then built from scratch. :)

thanks for the extra pictures!

Thanks mates. I'am now retired. Maybe my model output grows over the next years, so you don't have to look at these old things ;)

Sounds great!

If I may recommend - I observed you fancy re-purposing everyday objects for scratch parts - have a look at used PC/Mobile-phone parts - metal, cable, lenses and all kind of good stuff and creative input to be found there... I use old PC cables all the time and mobile-phone lenses/parts for HUD, Optical missile guidance systems and IRST sensors and they do look rather fine in such roles ;)

i still disassemble any broken device before discarding them, with that specific purpose :) I am glad I am not the only one :)

Spanjaard: The first three books seem very dated now, still, a good story is always a good story. The fourth book (Foundation's Edge) I have enjoyed rereading the most.

Thanks mates. I have also read the first three books of the foundation story. Philip K.Dick is als one of my favourite authors. Especially the short stories.
13. March 2017, 21:07
I don't read much Scifi these days, but when I did, Philip K.Dick was my favourite.

Thanks mates for your kind responses.

long time no chit chat :)
hope all is good with you !

Anyhow, it's been a while since I've done much in the way of model making but I finished this off recently and thought it might appeal to you so I thought I would share it with you :)
